As we prepare to celebrate our fifth anniversary at WELL Summit, we’re working behind the scenes to ensure this year is the best one yet. This life-changing wellness weekend is going to be full of community, learning, luxury and a deep dive into holistic, 360-degree wellness. And it starts with our panels, happening on both Friday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Brooklyn Expo Center.

Our panel conversations will showcase experts in a wide range of topics, giving you access to new wellness luminaries. You’ll have the chance to engage with them in Q&As, and hear an array of opinions on some of the trends and topics most prominent in the wellness industry today. DECODING THE INGREDIENTS YOU PUT ON YOUR BODY + HOW THEY IMPACT THE ENVIRONMENT, Friday, Oct. 18

Join us for a deeper dive into the common ingredients in personal care products, and how they impact our bodies and the environment. What should you avoid and why? Does what we wash down the drain really matter as we learn more about the impact of humans on the planet? What changes can we make today to protect our personal and collective future?


MOTHERHOOD AND MATERNAL MORTALITY WITH CHRISTY TURLINGTON BURNS, Friday, Oct. 18

At this panel hosted by Every Mother Counts Founder Christy Turlington Burns, and moderated by Carolyn Kylstra, editor in chief for Self Magazine, we’ll dive deep into maternal mortality. Christy’s work in maternal health began after experiencing a childbirth-related complication in 2003—an experience that would later inspire her to direct and produce the documentary feature film, No Woman, No Cry, about the challenges women face throughout pregnancy and childbirth around the world. Under Christy’s leadership, Every Mother Counts has invested nearly $15 million in programs in Africa, Latin America, South Asia and the United States focused on making pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere.

In our culture, “aging” is often whispered as a dirty word, bringing to mind deterioration and a decreased ability to do the things we love.
