#MyCleanBeautyShelf: A Peek Inside the Morning Routine of Jena Covello, Founder of Agent Nateur

1 min read

As the founder of Agent Nateur, Jena Covello doesn’t stop at being a self-proclaimed creatrix. She’s also an activist for medical freedom, a Francophile, a detective, a lover of Persian cats—and she’s on a mission to make holistic wellness luxurious and mainstream. Which begs the question: What does a holistic wellness advocate use in her daily routine? Let’s take a peek inside her morning, in our latest #MyCleanBeautyShelf.

My beauty philosophy is…

Eating clean is the first step to take for beautiful skin. After that, it’s about narrowing down the products you use and only using the most effective, nontoxic, anti-aging ingredients available.

First thing in the morning, I…

Make my famous matcha latte.

My morning skincare routine includes…

Not washing the face (too much washing strips the oils of the face); using the holi (trinity) [holi (water), holi (c) and holi (oil)], followed by my unreleased SPF; then I layer my new eye serum on top and pat the excess onto my lips.

My morning haircare routine includes…

Brushing, occasionally using a flat iron to curl followed by David Mallett’s hair serum.

Processed with RNI Films

My morning makeup routine includes…

Tinted moisturizer, matte lipstick and lip liner. RMS beauty highlighter for cheeks.

My favorite beauty tip

My new eye serum looks incredible used as a highlighter both under and in the outer corners of the eyes. Second bonus tip: Line your entire lip and fill it in with a lip liner before applying lipstick.

What’s your desert island/can’t-live-without beauty product?

My holi (rose) deodorant, my unreleased SPF, holi (oil) for face and body.
