#MyCleanBeautyShelf: What Jun Lee, Founder and Creative Director of Eir NYC, Uses In Her Daily Routine
Jun Lee, founder and creative director of Eir NYC (pronounced “air”) is a true Renaissance woman. She was born in Seoul, Korea, and moved to Chile when she was just seven years old. From there, she relocated to New York, all while pursuing a career as an art curator and side hustle as an extreme athlete. The movement between these cultures gave Jun an incredible world view from a young age, and encouraged her curiosity.
In 2013, while recovering from sports injuries and struggling with pain management, she began studying green medicine. She hoped that it could boost the benefits of her physical therapy, and help her heal. That knowledge led her to product creation. As an avid surfer, she developed her first product, a sunblock called Surf Mud, and it became a fast favorite amongst the Montauk surfing community. From there, she began incorporating principles of herbal healing into her growing cornucopia of natural, functional skincare products in the line Eir NYC, which caters to those who love to spend time outdoors. Let’s take a peek into what the formulator and founder uses in her daily routine on the latest #MyCleanBeautyShelf.
My beauty philosophy is…
My beauty is inner confidence and clean 360: food, spiritual health, physical health and keeping my skincare (topical process) simple.
First thing in the morning, I…
I meditate and have coffee.
My morning skincare routine
My morning haircare routine
My morning makeup routine
My favorite beauty tip
I don’t use any moisturizer at night and let my skin breath overnight. It has changed my skin completely. I use mineral-based sunscreen in the mornings to avoid pigmentation.
