#MyCleanBeautyShelf: What Kristina Tsipouras, Founder & CEO of Moroccan Magic, Can’t Live Without
Kristina Tsipouras is the Founder & CEO of Moroccan Magic, a collection of USDA Organic argan + essential oil lip balms sold in retailers nationwide from CVS and Bed Bath & Beyond, to Whole Foods Markets, Wegmans and Walgreens. She is also the founder of Boston’s largest networking group, Boston Business Women. So what does this CEO have to have in her daily beauty routine? Here’s her #MyCleanBeautyShelf.
My beauty philosophy is…
Beauty is a vibration that you carry within. It is an energy and an essence that we all have inside of us, sometimes we just need to learn how to access it. It starts with your mindset, how you treat your body, the words and thoughts that you tell yourself when you look in the mirror, etc.
First thing in the morning, I…
Stretch as big as I can. My fiancé calls this “the star fish.” However, studies show that it creates a mental confidence and sets a tone for how you will take on the world that day! I snuggle my dog and wake up slowly. In the colder months, I look forward to my warm lemon water with a drop of honey and turmeric. It warms me from the inside out!
My morning skincare routine
I wash my face every other morning. I usually cleanse and shower at night, so I don’t wash my face every morning. I do always splash my face with cold water and a mist of rosewater spray. My new brand obsession is Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser, Tata Harper Finishing Mask and their scrub with crushed grape seed. I also love a good lip scrub.
My morning haircare routine
Brushing it and rocking a high bun, because #busygirlboston.
My morning makeup routine
None. I do my make up only a few times a month when I have a speaking engagement, meeting, date night or girls night out! My eyes are very sensitive, so I try to leave them alone, though I do love a good eye lash curler, red lips and filling in my eyebrows. I swear, it’s all you need!
My favorite beauty tip
I feel like people forget about a complete lip. I start off by using Moroccan Magic, then lining with a lip liner, adding lipstick (on days when I am rushed, I love Fitglow’s lip serum. It is a color, gloss and serum all in one!).
