Ah, DIYs. Sometimes you want to get your Martha Stewart on, walk into the kitchen and CREATE. And sometimes, you just want to throw mashed avocado into your hair and call it day. The great thing about natural beauty is that you can use whole ingredients to craft your very own beauty rituals, while also tapping into that creative streak. I have a few tried and true DIYs I regularly turn to, but I also always need more. So, I’m asking beauty industry experts to share their favorite beauty DIYs with us. These experts know their ingredients like the back of their hands, so you can trust that what they whip up will be a total treat.

The Beauty DIY Recipe: Relief Aromatherapy Roller
The Benefits of a DIY Relief Aromatherapy Roller
To relieve stress, tension and headaches.
- a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil
- 10 drops each of essential oils of lavender, peppermint and geranium
- a 10 mL roller ball container
Add 10 drops of essential oils to your roller bottle. Fill the rest with carrier oil. Add top and shake well.
You can roll this on your temples for headaches, roll on your palms and rub your hands together and breathe in deep, and slowly exhale. You can also roll onto your wrist. Use as needed.
