Raise your hand if you blinked and it was the end of November. Yep, us too. With each holiday season seeming to get busier and busier, the idea of self-care sometimes goes out the window. But what if you could take a little bit of self-care with you wherever you go? Try this DIY aromatherapy mist to destress this holiday season—it’s easy to recreate and you can throw it in your purse, keep it on your desk or set it on your nightstand as a way pick-me-up whenever you need it.

DIY Aromatherapy Mist to Destress This Holiday Season

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces distilled water (serves as a nontoxic carrier for the calming oils)
  • 5 drops organic lavender essential oil (eliminates nerve tension; relieves pain; promotes circulation; can help treat insomnia; relaxing and calming effect)
  • 5 drops organic rosemary essential oil (reduces pain, relieves tension; increases focus; improves mental clarity)

Directions:

Pour all ingredients into 2-ounce bottle. Gently shake to combine.

Use:

Give the bottle a good shake to mix the oils together again. Spritz your body, clothing or the room and inhale deeply whenever you need to distress, calm down or boost focus. Use within two weeks; store in the fridge to increase longevity.
